Sambazon, more than just a delicious drink
The word ‘superfood’ has been widely used lately and for
good reason. Superfoods are foods that have high nutrient or phytochemical
contents, which enhance health and wellbeing. Greens, blueberries, acai
berries, hot peppers, hemp, all of these foods and more are considered to be
quite super.
Sambazon, a company that produces fresh juices, smoothies
and frozen products caught on very quickly to the excitement of superfoods and
has since created concoctions filled to the brim with these health promoting foods.
Sambazon promises that their products, which include Energy
– Mocha Java, an energizing beverage filled with acai, chocolate and fair-trade
coffee and Breakfast Blend, a superfood smoothie which contains four grams of
appetite sating fiber and healthy omega-3 fatty acids from acai berries and
chia seeds, are of the highest quality from Amazon fruits and botanicals so as
to reap the highest levels of bio-available nutrition. Sambazon also promotes
high consciousness for people and the planet, supporting 10,000 family farmers
and two million acres of Amazon rainforest, hence why the company’s name is in
fact Sambazon – standing for sustainable management of the Brazilian Amazon.
One of the main superfoods lurking within all of Sambazon’s
drinks is acai, a berry that is higher in antioxidants that cranberries,
raspberries, blackberries, strawberries and blueberries. Antioxidants help
defend the body against life’s stressors and protect cells from free radicals
that are harmful byproducts produced by the body. Eating a diet high in
antioxidants, which can easily be done when drinking Sambazon, may interfere
with aging and may lessen the destructive power of some diseases, such as heart
disease and cancer.
By coupling acai with various other high antioxidant
superfoods, Sambazon has created a one-two punch to ward off illness and
promote revving energy and health.
If you’re worried that you won’t be able to consume these
drinks due to food allergies, rest assured that these products are USDA
Organic, Non-GMO, Ecocert Fair Trade, Vegan, Dairy-Free and Gluten-Free.
